About Us

How We Started

How We Started

How We Started

In 2016, Tracey Robinson, Curt Pollard, Sean McLellan and Jennifer Coghlin got together due to their shared love of basketball, a sport that had profoundly shaped their lives.  It quickly became apparent that a basketball organization was in their future.  And in the Spring of 2016, Dorchester Dynamite Basketball was born, with the first offering of basketball programming.  The group continues to expand the organization, with a goal of ensuring that as their own children grow, along with other children in the community, that they have the same opportunities in basketball, sport and leadership that they were given.

Mission

How We Started

How We Started

We aspire to provide meaningful opportunities for youth to grow, mature, and excel through the sport of basketball.  We hope to teach healthy living skills, teamwork, communication, responsibility, problem solving, and confidence of self along side the ‘fun’damental skills of basketball.
